Çok Duvarlı Karbon Nanotüp İçeren Dizel Karışımlarla Yük Bağımlı Motor Davranışının Deneysel Analizi

Bu çalışmada, dizel yakıta ilave edilen çok duvarlı karbon nanotüp (MWCNT) katkılarının motor
performansı ve egzoz emisyonları üzerindeki etkileri deneysel olarak araştırılmıştır. Deneylerde
kullanılan yakıtlar, hacimce 60 ve 100 ppm oranlarında MWCNT içerecek şekilde hazırlanmış; bu süreçte
mekanik ve ultrasonik karıştırma yöntemleri birlikte uygulanmıştır. Motor performans testleri farklı yük
seviyelerinde gerçekleştirilmiş ve başta özgül yakıt tüketimi (ÖYT) ve termik verim olmak üzere temel
performans parametreleri değerlendirilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar, MWCNT katkısının tüm yük
kademelerinde ÖYT’yi azalttığını ve termik verimi artırdığını ortaya koymuştur. Motor yükü arttıkça
termik verimin yükseldiği, MWCNT katkılı yakıtların ise katkısız dizel yakıta kıyasla daha yüksek termik
verim sağladığı belirlenmiştir. MWCNT katkısının, yakıt-hava karışımını iyileştirerek eksik yanma
ürünlerinden olan karbonmonoksit (CO) emisyonlarını azalttığı; buna karşılık, yanma veriminin ve yanma
sıcaklığının artmasına bağlı olarak karbondioksit (CO₂) ve azot oksit (NOx) emisyonlarında katkı oranına
bağlı bir artış gözlendiği tespit edilmiştir. Bu bulgular, MWCNT katkı malzemelerinin içten yanmalı
motorlarda performans iyileştirme ve emisyon karakteristiklerini değiştirme potansiyeline sahip olduğunu
göstermekte ve motor tasarım ile optimizasyon çalışmalarına bilimsel altyapı sunmaktadır.
