Stachys euadenia ve Stachys longiflora Türlerinin kimyasal içeriklerinin ve biyolojik aktivitelerinin araştırılması

Abstract

Lamiaceae (Ballıbabagiller) familyasının önemli cinslerinden biri olan Stachys L., sekonder
metabolitler bakımından zengin olması ve çeşitli biyolojik aktiviteler göstermesi nedeniyle son yıllarda
fitokimyasal ve farmakolojik araştırmaların odak noktalarından biri hâline gelmiştir. Bu cinse ait türlerin
fenolik bileşikler, flavonoidler, fenilpropanoid glikozitler ve diğer biyoaktif bileşikleri içermesi;
antioksidan, antidiyabetik, antialzheimer, antitirozinaz ve sitotoksik aktiviteler açısından önemli bir
potansiyele sahip olduklarını göstermektedir. Bununla birlikte, Stachys euadenia ve Stachys longiflora
türlerinin fitokimyasal özellikleri ve biyolojik aktiviteleri üzerine gerçekleştirilen çalışmalar oldukça
sınırlıdır.
Bu çalışmada, Stachys euadenia ve Stachys longiflora türlerinden metanol, etil asetat ve dietil eter
kullanılarak elde edilen ekstraktların kimyasal içeriklerinin ve biyolojik aktivitelerinin kapsamlı olarak
araştırılması amaçlanmıştır. Bu kapsamda ekstraktların toplam fenolik madde ve toplam flavonoid madde
içerikleri spektrofotometrik yöntemlerle belirlenmiş, kimyasal profilleri sıvı kromatografisi-tandem kütle
spektrometrisi (LC-MS/MS) yöntemi kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir. Ayrıca ekstraktların antioksidan
aktiviteleri farklı in vitro yöntemlerle değerlendirilmiştir.
Bunun yanı sıra ekstraktların asetilkolinesteraz (AChE), bütirilkolinesteraz (BChE), α-amilaz, α
glukozidaz ve tirozinaz enzimleri üzerindeki inhibitör etkileri araştırılmıştır. Enzim inhibisyon
analizlerinde pozitif kontrol olarak sırasıyla galantamin, akarboz ve kojik asit kullanılmıştır Bu çalışmadan
elde edilecek bulguların, Stachys euadenia ve Stachys longiflora türlerinin fitokimyasal özelliklerinin ve
biyolojik aktivitelerinin ortaya konulmasına katkı sağlaması, bu türlerin doğal biyoaktif bileşik kaynağı
olarak değerlendirilmesine bilimsel temel oluşturması ve gelecekte gerçekleştirilecek fitokimyasal ile
farmakolojik çalışmalara ışık tutması amaçlanmaktadır.
