In this study, we estimate an analytical method proposed to calculate very accurately the resistivity of platinum and palladium over a wide range of temperatures. A thorough analysis of the available theoretical and experimental results enables us to extend the suggested procedure for the evaluation of resistivity of other materials. The calculation results are controlled by previous literature data. A comprehensive description of the theoretical evaluation procedure is given in this work. We calculate the electrical resistivity using the Bloch- Gruneisen relations. We use this proposed approach and methodology to obtain new accurate results for pure platinum at a very high temperature range. Note that the electrical resistivity evaluation methods can be a basis for calculating other substances an objective in itself.
