Atık Pişirme Yağlarından Biyodizel Üretimi: Kinetik ve Termodinamik Analiz

Abstract

Bu çalışma, atık pişirme yağlarından biyodizel üretiminde reaksiyon sıcaklığının etkisini ve
transesterifikasyon reaksiyonunun kinetik ve termodinamik özelliklerini incelemektedir. Çalışmada, atık
pişirme yağlarının metanol ve potasyum hidroksit (KOH) katalizörü kullanılarak transesterifikasyon
yoluyla biyodizele dönüştürülmesi için 45, 55 ve 65 ℃ sıcaklıklarında ve 30, 60, 90 ve 120 dakika süreyle
reaksiyonlar gerçekleştirilmiştir. Sonuçlar, biyodizel veriminin reaksiyon sıcaklığı ve süresiyle arttığını, en
yüksek verimin ise 65 ℃ ve 120 dakika sonunda elde edildiğini göstermiştir. Kinetik analizler, reaksiyonun
pseudo birinci dereceden olduğunu ve hız sabitinin sıcaklıkla arttığını ortaya koymuştur. Termodinamik
analizler ise, reaksiyonun endotermik olduğunu ve yüksek bir aktivasyon enerjisine ihtiyaç duymadan
gerçekleştirilebildiğini göstermektedir. Bu çalışma, atık pişirme yağlarının sürdürülebilir bir biyodizel
üretimi için ekonomik ve çevresel olarak uygun bir hammadde olduğunu ortaya koymaktadır.
